VIDEO: April Fools! Deadpool officially breaks the fourth wall

When Ryan Reynolds tweeted this, many fans rejoiced. We finally see Deadpool in his official suit and we can finally start forgetting about that awful bizarro-Deadpool we saw in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

But a picture can only paint a thousand words and since it's the motormouth we're talking about here, that simply isn't enough.

An exclusive video via the JoBlo.com YouTube channel finally gives us an idea of what to expect (and an R-18 affirmation nonetheless!) from the film:

The video starts out as any EXTRA interview goes with host Mario Lopez interviewing Reynolds, who appears to be on-set during filming of "Deadpool". And truly, it seemed like it would be the same interview formula we've become accustomed to until Lopez audaciously suggests that the film stay PG-13.

This seems to make Reynolds uncomfortable and if you knew that this is a passion project for him, it's easy to understand as the actor wants to stay true to the spirit of the character and he's really fighting for an R-18 version of Deadpool.

And then the unthinkable happens. Deadpool, in the same costume in the Reynolds tweet saunters into the background and bam! Lopez is down! And to officially make his first fourth wall crack (test footage aside of course because that was "leaked" remember?) as if whacking Lopez wasn't enough, he drops the F bomb on the actor and referred to him as Slater!

Deadpool then announces that "Deadpool" will indeed be rated R.

So it's official, live-action Deadpool has made his presence felt and what a way to make an announcement. If this is the sort of thing that we can expect from the character, then it's safe to say that fans of the "merc with a mouth" will have a lot to look further to until the film's release in February 2016.

"Deadpool" is directed by Tim Miller and will be released by 20th Century Fox. It also stars Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, and Gina Carano.
